Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bars

I love cheesecake. It really is my favorite dessert. I’d pass up birthday cake, cupcake, and even ice cream for a good cheesecake. Last week I made these buttery creamy cheesecake bars for some friends who came over. Ohhh myyy, let’s just say there wasn’t any for left overs after. They are oh so yummy! I used peanut butter chips and chocolate chips not only on the top, but also the bottom of the bars!

  • All purpose flour, 1 cup
  • Baking soda, 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Salt, 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar, 1/2 cup
  • Egg, 2
  • Butter, melted, 5 tbsp
  • Cream cheese, softened, 5 oz
  • Vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp
  • Powdered sugar, 2 cups
  • Chocolate chips, 1 cup
  • Peanut butter chips, 1 cup
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add melted butter and mix and then 1 egg and mix. Press this into a pan as your crust. Sprinkle on 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup peanut butter chips on top of the crust.
  3. Using a stand or hand mixer mix together your cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Pour this mixture over your crust and chips.
  4. Top with your remaining chocolate chips and bake for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes after removing it from the over. Serve and ENJOY!
