Caramel Apple Trifles


Great recipe! Made these yesterday just for fun and they tasted great. Like others I put my apples in the freezer while I melted my caramels and then put them back in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Caramel Sauce*
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp salted butter, cubed, room temperature
1/4 cup heavy cream, room temperature

Cinnamon Apples
3 apples, diced
2 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
6 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp butter

Cinnamon Whipped Cream
1 cups whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
